● Fri, Feb 18: Private Pawty' at da' Lakeview Knights Of Columbus Hall, 8:30-11:30PM (un-beknown to the masses-Lakeview is an underground hot bed of wild Mardi Gras revelry.)
● Sat, Feb 26: Benny is the "Honorary" (Grand Marshall, or Captain, or Parade Major, or Something like that) in the world famous and mighty "Push-Mow Parade" in downtown Abita Springs, as it rolls ever onward through that great metropolis, 11:00AM-12:Noon.

● Mon, March 7: Benny is the live-in-studio guest on the "Spud Show" with John "Spud" McConnell, on WWL Radio, AM 870; 1:00-4:00PM.
● Tues, March 8: Mardi Gras Day! We rule the srteets of Metairie with the Mighty & Fearless "Krewe Of Argus". Parade rolls at 10:AM.

● Thur, April 7: "French Quarter Festival", we're in French Quarter Fest for the first time. And only because they added this new day (Thursday) just for "Benny Grunch & The Bunch". We're the closing act on the Jackson Square stage, 3:30-5:00PM. We'll have a bunch of our new CD "Grunch Road" with us. (Looka', we know it's the French Quarter, but we're stickin' with really cheap Yats pricing.). My autograph sharpie will be in my pocket, and I'll stay 'till they're all signed.

 ● Sat July 23: Harrah's New Orleans (in the Theatre), we're the intermission band for Jodi Borrello & Friends "The 3 Charmers". Doors open at 7:30. The show starts at 8:00. We'll probably play from about 8:45 or 9:00 for half an hour or so. We'll have our CD's and tees, including the new "Grunch Road" CD; and the "Friday Nite" tee ( the neighborhood movie theatres of New Orleans). We'll sing all of our hits, even the "G.E.D. Fight Song." And, of course the girls (Jodi Borrello, Amanda Hebert, and Becky Allen), will be totally out of control.

October

● Sat Oct 1: Pontchartrain Vineyards (North of Covington at 81250 Hwy. 1082) (6.5 miles from Hwy 21). Gate opens at 5:PM. We perform 6:30-9:PM. We'll have all our old and brand new CD's and tees. Come in a carload! Adults=10 bucks, kids 17 and under=free. Bring your lawn chairs, umbrella, picnic dinner, and flashlight. Please, no outside alcohol, no pets, no fire pits. Wine is for sale; so is Windfield Farms food. 985-892--9742, www.winery@pontchartrainvineyards.com . We've played here a few times. It's outside in the vineyard; always fun and beautiful.
● Sat Oct 22: "Boo Carre" at the French Market (between Peters and Decatur, near Margaritaville and the Old Mint) goes from10:00AM-6:30PM. Lotsa' kids activities including a "Boo! Shouting Contest", a "Pumpkin Procession", and "Kid's Kostume Kontest". We play from 2:00 till 3:30PM on the Bud Lite Stage. We'll do all of our hits, and our newest songs, and some Halloween songs. (We might even be in costume).

● Mon Dec 5 :  We're performing live on WWL TV-Ch.4. So once again WWL (our New Orleans' CBS affiliate) is allowing us to introduce our new additions to the "12 Yats Of Christmas" CD (a brave decision on the part of WWL). We'll be on the Morning Show, probably a buncha' times between 7:00-9:00AM. However sometimes we do a brief teaser prior to 7:00AM. And ya' gotta listen to our performance if ya' wanna' get the free snacks when we finish. This is a free concert. Nobody's gonna' do no preachin'. We just wantcha' to show up. ● Sat Dec 24 : Christmas Eve: Walgreens (1503 Metairie Rd. near Codifer) 12:Noon-2:00PM. Yes!! We're gonna' set up and play rite' there in the store. The store is re-arranged, so look for us in front of the Maybelline eye make-up. Ya' probably can't miss us, we're the only band playing in a Walgreens on Christmas Eve. Like, we're probably the only band playing in a Walgreens anywhere-Anywhere! Walgreens will have "The Twenty Foist Annivoisary of The 12 Yats Of Christmas" CD's, and the "Grunch Road." CD's. And we'll have our autograph sharpies (purchased at Walgreens of course) with us. Bring ya' cameras and video recorders, and chilluns' and grand-chilluns' and mawmaws and pawpaws and friends and neighbors; this is a rare event. You can even bring Nawt' Shore people! Walgreens...we're in the big time Now.

● Sun Dec 25 (Christmas Night) : 6:00-10:00PM. Mid City Lanes Rock'n Bowl (3000 South Carrollton Ave.-70118, next to College Inn) 504-861-1166. It's the "Twenty Foist Annivoisary of The 12 Yats of Christmas" giant Christmas Pawty'.. So the cover charge at the door is 21cents. That's right!...Twenty One Cents!. Everybody's welcome (long as ya' got twenty-one cents), Mawmaws, Pawpaws, kids and grand-chilluns, even Nawt'Shore people. We'll have all the CD's and tees at real Yat prices. No fancy Walmawts' here. ● Sat, Dec 4: An evening with "The Acadian International Thunderbird Club" (The cars, not necessarily the wine...well, maybe the cars and the wine).
At the beautiful Red Maple in historic, downtown Gretna, LA. (This is a private function - unless, of course, it spills into the street.)
● Sun, Dec 5:"Air National Guard Christmas Family Day" at Belle Chasse Naval Air Station, Hangar #5. All family members out of Belle Chasse Naval are invited. This event (and our performance) is sponsored by "Blue Star Mothers Of Louisiana". Our show is 9:30-10:30 AM. We'll do all of our hits, old and new; and also songs from our brand-new "Grunch Road" CD. We'll have all our CD's, and tees with us at cheap-real-yat prices, and that includes an autograph.
● Thu, Dec 9: St. Charles Parish "Senior Citizen Free Luncheon" at Jerusalem Temple in Ormond (1940 Ormond Blvd., Destrehan-70047). ● Sat, Dec 11: City Of Mandeville annual "Winter On The Water" Celebration, On Lakeshore Drive & West Beach Parkway, 4:00-6:00PM.
This performance will include our "Ya' Mamma's Gutted-Out Lakeview Horn Section", and we'll have all our CD's and tees to autograph and sell really cheap (no upscale-uppity Covington pricing here). The rain got us last year, but we've already done some novenas, so this time we should be OK. (Also we'll have our new "Grunch Road" CD with almost all new songs.)
● Tue, Dec 14: WWL-TV! We will be on our New Orleans local CBS television affiliate WWL-Ch4, for a live performance, 6:00-9:00AM. ● Wed, Dec 22: New Orleans Hornets Buzz Fest with Benny Grunch & The Bunch. We're gonna'  on a large outside stage on Girod St. between The New Orleans Arena and The Superdome 5:30 to 6:45PM. NBA game time is 8:00PM. Hugo & Honeybee will be signing autographs -  Interactives for the Kids - Concessions - One Dollar Beer - and Much More. The New Orleans Hornets always go the extra distance to make sure everybody has a good time. This is a fun event with Us, & The Wanna' Bees, & The Used To Bees. There's also lotsa' seating in front of the stage.
● Fri, Dec 24: (Christmas Eve) Once again, we'll be in "the-real-Big-Time". (Alas, but only for a couple of hours)... As we set up the equipment, and lights, and TV cameras, and radio microphones, and red carpet, and banners. While the limousines pull up out front; for our annual Christmas performance At! - The! - "Metairie Road Walgreens!!!". (1503 Metairie Rd.((at Codifer)) 70005, 504-831-9756) Our show is 12:Noon-2:00PM, right in front of the toe-nail clippers. The store will have our CD's in stock (The 12 Yats Of Christmas and the brand-new! "Grunch Road" CD.) We'll play live in the store, and sign autographs, and try to keep safe; in spite of our proximity to the automatic doors, and the onslaught of wild frenzied paparazzi.
● Sat, Dec 25: Christmas Night (Not Christmas Eve-Christmas Night!) It's the annual "Giant (pronounced "Jiynt" in New Orleans) 12 Yats Of Christmas Pawty'" 6:00-10:PM; at world famous Mid City Lanes Rock'n Bowl (3016 S. Carrollton Ave.-70118, 504-861-1700; Cover charge this year is 45cents (Yes, you heard right. Forty Five Cents!) at the door. And I am so sorry about the price increase. (Last year it was 25cents). But this price of admission increase is due entirely to the fines incurred by Benny Grunch & The Bunch from the Red Light Cameras. Our offenses were: Chewing gum while driving past Canal and Carrollton - Smiling while wearing sunglasses in a school zone on Canal Blvd - and talking to the person sitting right next to you in your passenger seat, at various intersections Uptown. We apologize for this financial burden. In an attempt to make this up to our guests; we'll have all our CD's and tees, and our brand new "Grunch Road" CD, all at "after Christmas prices". And, of course personalized autographs don't cost nuttin'.

This is a fund raiser for the support of the historic buildings occupied by "The Center". They are the Monastery Of St. Joseph and St. Teresa, built and consecrated in 1895. Tue, Aug 10: Benny is a 'celebrity' judge at The National World War II Museum, for the first "Stage Door Idol" competition. There are four weeks of competition on Tuesdays (5:30-7:30PM) beginning July 20 and ending August 10. "Stage Door Idol" is open to all ages and features vocal performances of songs written or recorded in the 1940's. Everyone's invited to attend and cast their vote. This is West Harrison Ave. (between Pontchartrain Blvd and Fleur DeLis Drv.) in West Lakeview. West Harrison is now freshly black-topped (asphalted), and looks terrific. We're gonna' park antique cars and bikes right down th middle of the West Harrison Ave. to make our own "West Harrison Neutral Ground". Everyone's invited, even regular Lakeview people.

And we'll autograph whatever ya' want, 'till it's all done. Lafayette Square is between St. Charles Ave. and Camp St., one block up-town (that means "south" for all ya'll northerners from Baton Rouge) of Poydras St. (Parking is available at 650 Poydras St. for 5 bucks after 4:00PM.)
● Sat, May 29: Our "Big Easy Rollergirls" battle it out on the "flat-floor" with the "Jax City Rollergirls" from Jacksonville, FL, at the UNO Human Performance Center ( near Elysian Fields and Leon C. Simon -New Orleans 70112). Doors open around 6:00PM. The bout starts at 7:00. We'll start playing about 6:15. We'll also play at half-time, and at the end of the match.

● Tue, Dec.1: The Roosevelt Hotel, New Orleans - We are proud to perform for the Opening Presentation of The Roosevelt Hotel's world famous Lobby Christmas Decorations. The Lobby has not been decorated for Christmas since 2004. And it has not been decorated with the name "The Roosevelt Hotel" for many years. The Roosevelt is part of The Waldorf Astoria Collection, and it shows. The hotel has been resurrected to it's "Roosevelt" glory. You'll first notice in the lobby that the old carpet is gone, to expose the original tile and marble floors that  have been painstakingly restored. We're going to perform in that very lobby at 6:00PM. This may be a brief performance, and everyone's invited. So don't come late....and, oh-yeah. Wipe ya' feet. Were you a Velvet Swing regular? Were you a Velvet Swing casual customer? Do you wish you had gone to the Velvet Swing more often? Were you thrown out a few times?  Did you practically live there? We're gonna' set-up and play all of our music live in the restaurant (yes, the Main Room!), starting about 7 - 10PM. ●  Mon Oct.19: "The Makaha Sons" return to New Orleans and we're gonna' open for them at Lakeview Harbor. The Makaha Sons are Hawaii's premiere music group, with 21 CD's to their credit. Some of their recent performances include Carnegie Hall, and twice on the NBC Today Show. "The Sons" music is something very different and beautiful (and you don't hear me say beautiful). Vocally and musically it's a treat. And live; it's a triple treat.At Lakeview Harbor, 911 Harrison Ave. (downtown Lakeview), New Orleans-70124. This event will be inside the main dining room. ● Sun, Feb.8: Benefit at Mid City Lanes Rock'n Bowl for drummer Harry Ravain. (Harry Ravain has been the drummer for Benny Grunch & The Bunch since 1997. He's been battling cancer since August 2008. It's been rough to say the least; but there have been some recent truly amazing improvements.) There'll be lots'a bands and performers and fun stuff. OK for kids, and Mawmaws, and Everybody, even Metry' people.  3:00-7:00PM (maybe later).

● Sun, Feb.15: Jefferson Parish's "Family Gras" on the "Louisiana Stage" located in 'Metry' right behind Chevy's on N. Hullen. This is the first year of "The Louisiana Stage" of now world-famous Family Gras. Help us help Metry. And all ya'll gotta' do is show up! That's 12:00Noon-12:45PM. We promise, all of our most Funest and Yateeist and Mardi Grawist hit songs whether ya' wanna' hear 'em or not.
